The Home Office will not require individuals and families to leave asylum accommodation once their claim or appeal has been decided, in line with national guidance, with a review in June. The Home Office and Providers are to work with councils to identify new accommodation as the number of supported asylum seekers grow, including potentially in areas that have not previously agreed to dispersal. Reporting requirements and substantive interviews are also postponed for now.
