Buckinghamshire Council and London Borough of Camden have created a prototype allowing isolated people to request support for things such as collecting groceries and prescriptions, and dog walking. The open source code was created in partnership with FutureGov, and is available for other local authorities to use. A blog post has also been created by the Heads of Digital at both local authorities, explaining how to utilise this new system.
The Learning Disability Professional Senate have developed two resources for people with learning disabilities and their families:
